We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Café Supervisor to join a busy and well-established café and dessert venue. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person, offering the chance to step into a leadership role with long-term career potential.

What You'll Be Doing
* Leading and supervising a young, energetic team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
* Overseeing day-to-day café operations, including opening and closing procedures
* Training, mentoring, and supporting staff to maintain a smooth and efficient service
* Managing stock ordering, deliveries, stock rotation and inventory control
* Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
* Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food safety, presentation and WHS compliance
* Operating POS systems, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliations
* Driving sales through strong service standards, upselling, and product presentation
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a café, dessert venue, gelato shop, or hospitality leadership role
* Strong barista skills with confidence producing quality coffee consistently
* A natural leader who can motivate and support a younger team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure
* A proactive and hands-on approach to leadership
* Availability across weekends, public holidays, and peak trading periods
