Program Support Officer
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to our community programs team by delivering high-quality services to families.
As a Program Support Officer, you will be part of a supportive and safe workplace where you will work collaboratively with colleagues to create engaging experiences for children.
You will be expected to build strong relationships with children and families, providing a welcoming environment and adhering to policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the community programs team to deliver family-focused initiatives
* Establish quality relationships with children and families to provide a nurturing environment
* Take a flexible approach to meet families' needs and support their parenting journey
* Model effective early childhood practice and support around child development
Essential Criteria:
* Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
* Exceptional communication skills to engage with families
* Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Proven ability to model effective early childhood practice
* Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
* Demonstrated commitment to an inclusive curriculum
* Ability to adhere to WH&S and other organisational policies
* Familiarity with the ECEC sector
* Maintain a valid Working with Children Check
* Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification
* Identify and respond to children at risk certificate (desirable)
* Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate
* A valid driver's license
