Job Overview
The Queensland Police Service operates facilities for holding individuals in police custody across the state. This role involves 24-hour rotational shift work, encompassing afternoon, night and weekend shifts, as well as public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake administrative tasks related to supervising and monitoring individuals in custody and visitors to detention facilities.
* Maintain accurate records of detainees and their activities.
* Operate electronic surveillance and movement control systems according to established procedures.
* Assist with processing individuals received into custody and supervise their welfare, comfort and security.
* Prepare and maintain records of detainees' health requirements and arrange medical assistance as needed.
Essential Requirements
This position necessitates possession of an Open C Class Driver's Licence and adherence to the Queensland Police Service Code of Conduct and Appearance.
