Event Coordinator Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to join our team. The role involves overseeing event operations, coordinating with clients, and ensuring impeccable venue presentation.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate events, supervise staff, and maintain venue presentation.
* Liaise with clients, ensure event requirements are met, and complete Event Guarantees.
* Lead and mentor event floor staff, ensure they are well-trained and adhere to safety protocols.
* Conduct spot-checks to maintain venue presentation and quality of service.
* Manage accurate event documentation, team member time sheets, and inventory control.
* Promote a positive work environment and assist with staff training and development.
* Participate in event planning and provide feedback to improve processes.
* Ensure compliance with WHS policies and manage safety during events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in supervising front-of-house operations for events, conferences, and banquets.
* Exceptional customer service skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
* Sound knowledge of liquor licensing laws and special dietary requirements.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and written communication skills.
