Our client, located in Laverton North, is an international leader in providing high-quality raw material to the domestic and international pet-food markets. We are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators to join their team.
About the Job
Reporting to the plant manager, you will assist with the de-boning process to produce blast-frozen blocks of meat for pet food.
* Load bones into machines
* Operate production machinery
* Monitor the production process
* Move frozen meat blocks (20 kg) along conveyors
* Wrap and label pallets
* Move product with forklift into freezer
* Perform general housekeeping and labouring as required
About You
* Previous machine-operating experience
* Previous meat-industry experience preferred
* LF licence with forklift experience
* Ability to work with animal products including beef, lamb, and other animal products
* Ability to work in a chiller environment
* Ability to move 20 kg product along a conveyor
