About the role
As a Customer Service Assistant at Bonney Energy, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Ampol Exeter service station. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and streamlined experience. The Customer Service Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the overall operations of our retail business.
What you'll be doing
* Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Accurately processing customer transactions, including cash handling, card payments, and refunds
* Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the retail site
* Restocking and replenishing retail products as required
* Use food safety standards when preparing, cooking, displaying and disposing of hot/cold food
* Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
* Assisting with inventory management and stock control
* Responding to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues
* Collaborating with the wider retail team to ensure smooth operations
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in a similar environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
* Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
* A positive, friendly, and professional attitude
* Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
* The ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others
