About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Hose Technician to join our team at Absolute Diesel Services' in Maryborough, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance and installation of hydraulic hoses and fittings for a variety of heavy machinery and equipment.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose and repair hydraulic hose and fitting issues on a range of machinery and equipment
* Fabricate and install new hydraulic hoses to required specifications
* Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulic systems
* Maintain detailed records of all work completed
* Liaise with clients to understand their repair and maintenance needs
* Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations
What we're looking for
* Relevant trade qualifications in hydraulics, diesel mechanics or a related field
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Hydraulic Hose Technician or similar role
* Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, hoses and fittings
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
* Good communication skills to liaise with clients
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
* Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position
