Indie Education is seeking a senior educational leader to oversee the establishment of its new school, including teaching and learning programs, compliance requirements and staffing.
The successful applicant will work closely with other Tasmanian Heads of School and the Executive Principal (Tasmania) to facilitate the delivery of high-quality holistic learning programs. Our educational model combines high expectations and authentic connections to create a learning environment where young people can make meaningful progress in all areas of their lives.
As a senior leader, you will have a deep understanding of effective teaching, learning and classroom management practices. You will also have demonstrated experience as an exemplary teacher, capacity for educational leadership within a school setting and ability to lead a team and to work within a team.
The key responsibilities include ensuring compliance against standard operating procedures, managing the day-to-day running of the allocated location(s), managing a functional unit with a complex set of objectives and significant resources, assisting with efficiency analysis, applying solution-focused approach to managing inefficiencies and with regard for quality and compliance aspects.
