Hays Gippsland is delighted to collaborate with a highly respected organisation in their industry, seeking a talented Content Writer and Editor to join their team. This role is initially offered for a 12-week term, with potential for extension or future opportunities.
You will be responsible for the following
* Develop and manage content for media releases, social media, and internal communication platforms like SharePoint.
* Monitor and report on media engagement and activity.
* Respond to media enquiries and collaborate on corporate publications.
* Coordinate education and sponsorship programs to foster community engagement.
* Create and edit content, including banners, posters, and visuals using tools like Adobe and Canva.
* Liaise with teams to ensure content accuracy and alignment with organisational goals.
* Work independently while maintaining creativity, attention to detail, and effective communication.
What you'll need to succeed
* Skilled writer and editor with expertise in corporate communications.
* Proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Adobe, and Canva.
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to ensure content accuracy.
* Creative, detail-oriented, and adaptable in delivering engaging content across channels.
* Autonomous worker with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* Effective communicator with a focus on building trust and relationships.
* Relevant qualifications and experience in journalism, communications, or similar fields.
