About the Role
We are seeking an experienced workforce manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents.
* The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in workforce planning and roster management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements.
* They will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead high-performing teams and make decisions that balance commercial outcomes with customer experience.
* A strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Fair Work Act, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation and efficient rostering systems.
* Manage and review quarterly care minutes for each Residential Care location, analysing variances and occupancy rates to inform workload planning.
* Consult with stakeholders to recommend roster changes based on care minute reviews and update the workload planner accordingly.
* Identify process and compliance gaps, and implement improvements to enhance roster management and workforce planning skills within the team.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in workforce planning and roster management, preferably in residential aged care or public health sector.
* Proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop, motivate and lead high-performing teams.
* Ability to make decisions that balance commercial outcomes with customer experience, while effectively mitigating risks.
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Fair Work Act.
* Experience with workforce management software, specifically UKG Dimensions, including report generation and data analysis to monitor key performance indicators and identify improvement opportunities.
