If you’re after impact, there’s no other organisation in Australia that delivers work on this scale.
This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.
In this role, you'll:
Be responsible for leading project management, providing expertise and support to the Opal Next Generation (ONG) program. You will help to drive program initiatives, end-to-end delivery of your assigned projects, in line with project management methodologies. This will include all the key aspects of project management, such as scope, budget, schedule, vendors, risks and issues, stakeholders, and resources.
You will develop and maintain high quality project plans, schedules, and registers for one or more projects within the ONG program. You will also be responsible for developing and managing the project planning and initiation processes, including working with the finance and product teams, gaining necessary funding approval and performing ongoing spend and forecast tracking. A critical part of this role will be facilitating effective stakeholder management, ensuring internal and external stakeholder requirements are identified and managed. You will provide accurate and timely PM reporting, managing risks, adhere to strict governance guidelines, and ensuring satisfactory cost measure management strategies.
The Opal Next Gen program refers to the full modernisation of the Opal ticketing system to deliver smarter, digital-first, integrated public transport across NSW.
