About the Project Manager Role
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead our projects in South East QLD. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of on-site experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes
* Coordinate subcontractors onsite and manage a workforce of supervision, labour, and subcontractors
* Maintain daily records and diaries, and assist the engineering team with cost control and productivity tracking
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner
* Participate in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations
* Evaluate environmental controls and implement improvements as needed
* Review and understand subcontractor and supplier scope of works
* Organize completion of defect works in a timely manner
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and make decisions under pressure
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Familiarity with WHS policies and procedures
