About the role
As we recently expanding to a newly won project, our Operational Team in Northern Territory is seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid/Heavy Combination Driver to operate our MPU (Mobile Processing Unit) on mine and quarry customer sites. This role involves the safe and timely transportation of explosive products, as well as bulk emulsion services and related tasks. This is a Monday to Friday position, OR Drive-in-drive-out, based out of the Northern Territory region, with regular travel requirements, and presents a pivotal role within our growing team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Current HR Licence (essential)
* Valid Dangerous Goods Licence (preferred but not essential)
* Minimum of 2+ years experience handling or transporting dangerous goods is required
* Valid HC licence or ability to apply for Heavy Combination license
* Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Security Clearance
* Strong safety awareness and understanding of DG compliance
o Ability to complete paperwork accurately and to strictly follow procedures
