About the Role
We are seeking experienced Supervisors to support current and upcoming shutdown, maintenance and project works across Australia's largest mine sites. In this casual FIFO role you will have consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates and genuine long-term career opportunities within a well-established national contractor. As Supervisor you will lead crews across fixed plant shutdowns and maintenance scopes.
Day‐to‐day Responsibilities
* Supervise works to ensure all is completed to client and company specifications
* Lead a team of trade and non‐trade personnel to accomplish key deliverables
* Liaise with Linkforce clients and site‐based personnel
* Plan and schedule work and labour requirements, monitor progress against the work schedule
* Record and monitor team members performance, provide mentorship and address issues where necessary
* Investigate and report incidents
* Supervise and conduct visual inspections of work to ensure it meets required standards and client specifications (QA/QC)
* Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements and company HSEQ standards and procedures
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in Shutdown as Leading Hand or Supervisor
* Heavy Fabrication or Mechanical Fitting trade qualification (AU/NZ recognised)
* Working at Heights & Confined Space qualification within 2 years
* Schedule 26 training/qualification
* Strong commitment to health and safety
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Construction White Card
* National Police Check
Highly desirable:
* Client inductions (Rio Tinto, Fortescue, BHP, etc.)
* Additional trade or high‐risk tickets
