Responsibilities
Carrying design authority as well as the expectation of technical expertise, problem solving skills, communication skills, people skills, and contributions to the technical community.
Being technical experts in a specific aspect of a discipline and its application
Communicating technical issues throughout the organization
Applying science, engineering, theory, and processes, standards, best practices, and lessons learned.
Coordinating expertise in one or more engineering and science disciplines across the technology project portfolio, assuring rigor is applied through the design and development processes.
Ensuring needed personnel skills and expertise are in place across the organization for the discipline.
Qualifications
Have a Bachelor Degree in Geoscience or Petroleum Engineering
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Geoscience & Geosteering
Have experience in LWD (preferred)
Have solid oral and written communication skills
Have strong problem solving skills
Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
