We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Site Supervisor to join a Project Home Builder in Wide-Bay Burnett Region. The region is experiencing economy growth across Agriculture, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Renewable Energy Sectors attracting new residents to the area looking for a quieter life away from Metro regions.
About the Role
As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of up to 20 Projects across the Bundaberg area, QLD.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and supervise the work of construction crews, including subcontractors, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
* Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to protect the well-being of all site personnel
* Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination across the project
* Ensure the site is well‐organised and that all necessary materials, equipment, and tools are available
* Provide guidance, training, and support to the construction team to foster a positive and productive work environment
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the project, including timesheets, incident reports, and quality control checks
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Leading Hand, or Foreperson.
Required Skills
* Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
* Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
* Excellent problem‐solving, decision‐making, and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
* Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams
* Proficient in the use of construction management software and digital tools
* Certification in construction management or a related field is preferred
