The Role
We’re looking for a Maintenance Superintendent to lead and manage our maintenance team at the Kwinana Grain Terminal, on a full-time basis.
You will play a pivotal role in leading a team of experienced Electrical and Mechanical technicians, managing both preventive and corrective maintenance operations while championing continuous improvement, safety and cost-effectiveness across the entire equipment lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
- Execute maintenance schedules, lead Supervisors and the maintenance team, ensuring high standards of performance and safety
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimise downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly
- Manage maintenance budgets, monitor costs and optimise resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, spare parts and service agreements
- Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff
About you:
- Trade or engineering qualification in mechanical/electrical discipline with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems
- Proven experience in maintenance leadership within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively
- Commitment to safety and compliance standards
Desired
- 5+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role
- Proficiency in SAP S4 Hana
- Experience with reliability-centered maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies
