Stormguard Roofing is seeking an experienced Roofing Sales and Business Developer to join our dynamic team based in Caloundra, QLD. As a full-time Roofing Sales Business Developer, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and success, responsible for generating new business opportunities and providing accurate estimates for roofing projects and repairs.
What you'll be doing
* Identifying and pursuing new sales leads and business opportunities, proactively reaching out to potential customers and building strong relationships
* Conducting on-site inspections and assessments to provide detailed and accurate estimates for roofing projects
* Preparing comprehensive proposals and presentations to secure new business
* Collaborating with the production team to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction
* Maintaining detailed records of sales activities and pipeline
* Continuously staying up-to-date with industry trends, product innovations, and competition
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in roofing sales and roof inspections.
* Strong technical knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate
* Proficient in reading and interpreting building plans and specifications
* Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
* A valid driver's licence
* Australian citizenship is required for this position
