Finance and Accounting Expertise Required
SoundBay Pty Ltd, a leading supplier of Musical Instruments, DJ Equipment, Pro Audio, and Lighting products, seeks an experienced Finance Coordinator to join its team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Accounts Receivable function for SoundBay, including full credit control responsibilities and customer account reconciliations.
* Prepare and review accounts receivable and other month-end reporting.
* Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers, assess customer risk, and monitor credit limits.
* Provide support to the Education Sales team and Retail Stores, assisting with customer queries and POS transactions.
* Reconcile bank, merchant, and POS clearing accounts.
* Investigate and resolve fraud transactions and end-of-month fraud reporting.
* Account for Deferred Revenue.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent numeracy and analytical skills, with experience in reconciliation and accounts receivable processing.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective liaison with debtors and internal stakeholders.
* Ability to meet stringent reporting deadlines and manage high volumes of information.
* Independence to complete tasks to a high level of quality.
* Minimum 3-4 years' experience in accounts receivable or credit control roles.
