Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced or new graduate Podiatrist to join our team in the Brisbane region. As a mobile Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality podiatric care to residents across a range of aged care facilities, corporate health hubs, and clients' homes. Your role will involve regular treatments, building relationships to maximize foot care and enhance their health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
* Assessing, diagnosing, treating and evaluating abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limb
* Diabetic foot health assessments
* Contributing towards the patient's chronic disease management plan
* Offering footwear and foot care advice and education to patients, family members, staff, and carers
* Making referrals to other healthcare professionals as appropriate
* Biomechanical assessments
* Maintaining quality documentation and treatment planning procedures
* Undertaking administrative tasks such as maintaining stock levels, ensuring equipment is kept in good working order, and completing daily reports and handovers.
