NURSE EDUCATOR – part-time 60 hours a fortnight

You will play a key role in the facilitation of Undergraduate Student Placement, provide mandatory training to staff and support the Education Team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Facilitate Undergraduate Student Placements
* Provide hands on educational support and clinical teaching/facilitation and orientation to all staff, graduate nurses & students
* Promote a high standard of evidence based nursing care to all patients, through dissemination of current best practice knowledge
* Support staff compliance to annual Mandatory Training and completion of eLearning components
The Geelong Clinic offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient programs that are tailored to meet the needs of people with a range of mental health conditions. Programs include eating disorders, addiction and general psychiatry. A Community Outreach Program and a range of Day Programs are also available to support people in the community.

Essential Criteria
* Registered Nurse with Current AHPRA Registration
* Minimum of 3 years experience in Mental Health
* High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable Criteria
* Certificate IV workplace training and Assessment (TAE) (or working towards / willingness to obtain)
