Aboriginal Lawyer Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Aboriginal lawyer to provide legal advice and representation to clients of Legal Aid NSW, in accordance with their policies and guidelines.
* Provide legal services to clients of Legal Aid NSW
* Contribute to policy development and community education initiatives
* Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments
* Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and identify as such in the community
* Be willing to undergo a Criminal Record Check and/or Working with Children Check
* Be an admitted or eligible legal practitioner in NSW
* Hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency, or a valid visa to work in Australia
* Access to training, development, and mentoring opportunities
* Flexible work arrangements
