About Our Organisation
Mortons-Urban Solutions is a medium-sized, well-established company with offices on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. We specialise in Land Subdivision with a long history in Master Planned Communities.
The Opportunity
Mortons-Urban Solutions requires a Senior Civil Engineer with experience in urban development and co‐ordination of projects.
About You
* B.Eng Civil or equivalent
* Minimum 8 years' of civil engineering experience, including 5+ years in a consultancy environment
* Experience with land subdivisions
* An understanding of the design of earthworks, stormwater drainage, sewer drainage, water rectification and road design
* Knowledge of Local Government & Service Authority policies
* Be able to work both independently and within a team environment
* Have experience in Project Co-ordination and Contact Management
* Have a strong ability to liaise with clients and outside stakeholders
The Role
* You will manage and deliver projects from due diligence through to the development approval. You will be involved in the preliminary design and provide technical input to shape the development with the project team. You will prepare development cost estimates and undertake feasibility assessments of projects. You oversee the detailed design of the project and coordinate the necessary approvals of the project.
* You will lead the project delivery including the tender and contract administration of the project
* Develop relationships with clients and improve/maintain existing client relationships
* Liaise with project team and authorities
* Monitor service applications and plan approvals with Authorities for allocated projects and maintain the QA system that displays salient dates during the subdivision design process.
* Attend designated courses and training
