Rehabilitation Consultant – Working from Byron Bay office as a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play an instrumental role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.
Responsibilities
* Develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.
* Complete a range of assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS).
* Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return-to-work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones.
* Utilise problem‐solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants.
* Work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.
* Present case information to various stakeholders and provide credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal.
Qualifications
* Full AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist or Physio, or ESSA Registration as an EP.
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
* Current driver's licence and access to own transport.
* Full Australian Working rights.
