We now have an opportunity for a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join our Welshpool team, servicing both customer‑owned and company‑owned material handling equipment.
Job Details
* Location: Welshpool, Western Australia
* Employment type: Permanent Full Time
* Working hours: Monday‑Friday full‑time – No weekends
What You Will Be Doing Day‑to‑Day
* Perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on forklifts and material handling equipment.
* Complete pre‑delivery preparation and inspections for new and used machines.
* Carry out major overhauls and condition assessments.
* Identify opportunities for additional service or repair work and communicate with your supervisor.
* Maintain accurate job cards, checklists, and timesheets.
* Ensure the workshop is clean, safe, and well‑organised at all times.

What We're Looking For
* Mechanical Trade Certificate (Mechanical, Electrical, or Diesel – all considered).
* Minimum 2 years' mechanical experience in materials handling, heavy vehicle, or automotive industries.
* Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills.
* Knowledge of hydraulic systems and low‑voltage electrical systems.
* Current driver's licence and forklift licence.
* Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
* Full working rights in Australia and the ability to pass a pre‑employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
