Role Description
This is an on-site ELICOS Teacher role located in Canberra. The ELICOS Teacher will plan and deliver engaging English language lessons to international students, tailored to varying skill levels and learning goals. Key responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting assessments, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to enhance language proficiency. Additionally, the teacher will participate in professional development activities to maintain high teaching standards and adhere to compliance requirements.
Qualifications
* Expertise in instructional planning and deliver well-structured and effective lessons.
* Experience in Education and Teaching, with the ability to work with diverse learners and cultural backgrounds.
* Strong Communication skills to engage students and foster a positive learning environment.
* TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent certifications (required).
* Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, English, or a related field is preferred.
* Familiarity with English language testing systems (e.g., PTE-A, IELTS) is an advantage.
* A proactive, patient, and adaptable teaching style to support student success.
Requirements
* TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent qualification.
* Experience teaching adult learners (ESOL/ELICOS).
* Passion for helping students achieve their goals and thrive.
