Apprentice Carpenter / Labourer – Newcastle & Central Coast
HMJ Carpentry
We’re on the lookout for motivated apprentice carpenters (any year) and labourers to join our growing team at HMJ Carpentry. We work across the Newcastle and Central Coast regions on a variety of residential and commercial projects, including decks, pergolas, cladding, awnings, fencing, and general carpentry maintenance.

The Role
Assisting tradesmen with carpentry and construction tasks
Learning all aspects of carpentry, from framing to finishing
Site clean-up and preparation
Manual handling and use of tools and equipment
Following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment
Requirements
No experience needed for labourers – just a good attitude and willingness to learn
Apprentice carpenters – all year levels welcome
White Card (or willing to obtain)
Driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred
Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work occasional after-hours shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,900.00 – $98,318.64 per year
