The Role
We're looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented professional to join our Water Planning & Assets Department. In this role, you will assist with the maintenance and management of Council's spatial water and sewer datasets. You'll play a key part in delivering accurate spatial information to both internal teams and external stakeholders through our Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

What We're Looking For
* Qualified in Spatial Information Services, GIS, Drafting, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
* Experienced with commercial or open‑source spatial data editing software.
* Analytical, tech‑savvy, and highly detail‑oriented.
* A collaborative team player who thrives in a high‑performing environment.

Salary & Benefits
Base salary $74,750 p.a. (commencing salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate depending on qualifications, skills and experience)
* 12% Superannuation
Location
This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure
Full‑Time – Fixed‑Term (2 years)
