This is a 2nd shift position (3:00 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.)
Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
* Install, troubleshoot, clean, inspect, calibrate, and maintain electrical equipment throughout the facility.
* Perform electrical work safely and professionally with minimal supervision in accordance with Federal and State Regulations and Company Policies.
* Assemble, install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
* Repair and troubleshoot AC/DC variable speed drives, motor controls, PLCs, process controls, and building systems such as lighting, alarms, and security systems.
* Prioritize work, plan schedules, and follow up on assignments.
* Respond to emergency repairs during off hours when required.
* Conduct preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
* Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices as needed.
* Operate equipment including industrial forklifts, personnel lifts, skid steer loaders, and other mobile equipment.
* Candidates with controls wiring and troubleshooting experience are preferred.
Education/Experience:
* Must possess and maintain a current Massachusetts Journeyman Electrical License or higher.
* At least 5 years of experience in the field or electrical apprenticeship, or 2 years of technical school graduation plus 2 years of field experience.
* 3 years of Electrical & Controls experience required.

* Standing for most of the shift.
* Lifting up to approximately 50 lbs.
* Pushing, pulling, turning, twisting, bending.
* Repetitive hand motions.
