Overview

Our Sales Coordinators are part of our centralised Industrial Sales Operations team and use their unique blend of operational skills and industry knowledge to support our Industrial Sales & Vendor Management teams to deliver outstanding customer service to both buyers and vendors, ensuring they have a seamless and awesome experience. This is done by supporting the Sales & Vendor Management teams to effectively manage our customers assets and maximise the returns, enabling them to spend more time on securing new business.

This role would suit someone who has strong customer service experience both face to face and via email, with truck & machinery product knowledge being highly advantageous. This position is based at our Bibra Lake branch and the working hours are full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

The role will continually evolve with the below current key responsibilities being:

* Serving as the primary on site contact at your branch for truck & machinery assets queries, acting as a conduit between the local Operations and National Sales/VM teams
* Managing vendor enquiries regarding asset valuations, listing details and sale progress
* Managing buyer enquiries across national stock, including details on asset condition, valuations, reserve pricing, and history
* Coordinating and facilitating asset inspections and collections in the branch
* Accurately updating the CRM with Buyer and Vendor interaction and utilise the CRM to inform the appropriate Sales Agents for follow up for future business opportunity
* Support and conduct quality checking all Industrial assets, descriptions, damage, photos and provide feedback to operations teams
* Assisting with other duties such as sale preparation, registration issues, facilitating minor asset repairs, measuring assets for transportation, reviewing Auction Insight reports etc
* Assisting with off-site inspections and auctions as required

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

* Strong knowledge of Industrial type assets with sales or operational background (advantageous)
* Industry passion and expertise: Brings a genuine passion and interest in trucks and industrial machinery. Takes a hands on approach to operations, applying practical knowledge and enthusiasm to manage assets effectively and engage confidently with customers and stakeholders
* Organisation & time management: Proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: Demonstrates clear and professional verbal and written communication, ensuring consistency and clarity across all customer interactions. Provides outstanding customer service and is able to engage confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders, including vendors, buyers, tow truck drivers, internal sales teams, and operational staff
* Asset handling: Comfortable and experienced in operating trucks and machinery as required
* Willingness to work in challenging conditions e.g. yards, outdoors, heat, rain etc
* Licences & certifications: Holds a valid Australian driver's licence (essential) and current forklift licence (desirable)
