The Opportunity
Reporting to the National Sales Lead for Biosurgery, the Sales Training Manager will be responsible for standardising the learning experience across Australia's commercial education for Biosurgery. You will collaborate across global and local (strategy), and with regional commercial education teams to understand, build and institutionalise J&J MedTech foundational and advanced clinical programs. Additionally, this role will involve regular domestic travel, as you will be required to take part in field-based activities, including training facilitation, as well as customer facing engagements from operating theatre to C-Suite.
Responsibilities
* Collaborating with regional and commercial partners to translate business strategy in JJMT learning standards
* Consulting with Global Marketing and local Sales & Marketing teams; offering training expertise to meet business objectives
* Ensuring learning strategies are aligned with commercial business plans
* Conducting regular in-field customer interactions with the sales team to drive clinical best practice
* Creating and executing development plans for existing Field Sales Trainers to enhance capability and succession planning
About You
* Degree qualified, with minimum 3+ years' commercial education or related experience - medical devices experience is highly regarded
* Formal training in Instructional Design, with minimum of 2 years' curriculum design and training facilitation experience in a corporate setting
* Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), strategic planning, conducting needs assessments and adult learning principles
* Demonstrated skill in managing vendor resources and the ability to effectively communicate strategy and standards across various commercial teams
* Highly collaborative with outstanding communication and presentation skills, and the ability to travel domestically
