We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Membership Events Assistant to support the delivery of AGS's dynamic events program.
The Art Gallery Society of New South Wales (AGS) is the official membership organisation of the Art Gallery of NSW. Established in 1953, we inspire meaningful connections with art and culture, support the Gallery's programs and build a vibrant community of members through exceptional experiences.
Working closely with the Membership Engagement team, you will help deliver lectures, concerts, tours, workshops and special events both onsite at the Art Gallery and offsite.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced events environment and has a strong customer-service mindset.
Key responsibilities
* Support the setup, delivery and pack-down of AGS events and programs
* Assist with event operations including run sheets, attendance checks, seating and crowd management
* Liaise professionally with members, presenters, caterers, volunteers and staff
* Provide excellent customer service to members and visitors before, during and after events
