About You
* A degree or diploma in human resources, business management, volunteer management, or a related field, with relevant experience. Alternatively, a lesser qualification with substantial experience in volunteer management.
* Proven experience in developing and managing volunteer programs within local government or community settings.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including employment law, privacy regulations, occupational health and safety, and child protection.
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet objectives.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with volunteer management software.
* Experience in policy development and an understanding of local government structures and decision-making processes is highly desirable.
