Overview
Lake Joondalup Baptist College seeks to appoint a committed and innovative educator to the position of Head of Learning Enhancement for 2026. The successful applicant will be an experienced, enthusiastic, dedicated, highly competent person who is able to provide progressive leadership to the Learning Enhancement portfolio. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment commencing January 2026.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Learning Enhancement team, including teaching staff, Education Assistants, and contracted tutors.
* Build effective relationships with students, staff and parents to enhance student wellbeing and outcomes.
* Develop and implement engaging programmes and tools that recognise and cater for individual learning needs.
* Maintain confidential, accurate, up-to-date, and detailed records.
* Collaborate with students, staff, and external services to create and manage environments and opportunities that support student wellbeing.
Qualifications and Essential Criteria
* Committed Christian and an active member of a church.
* Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and representatives of associated services.
* Knowledge and understanding of students with diverse learning needs and legislative requirements.
* Commitment to professional learning and continual improvement.
* Leadership experience and skills across a diverse team.
* Well-developed ICT, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consult and liaise with a range of stakeholders.
* Experience in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating engaging programmes for individual learning needs.
* Ability to maintain confidential records.
* Right to work in Australia.
