Job Description The Role Reporting to our Commercial Credit Manager with a supportive management style, you will become a part of our high-performing commercial credit department engaged in dealer and fleet vehicle funding. You will be responsible for assessing the financial risk and recommending approvals on commercial credit applications.
Duties and Responsibilities Include: Assessing new dealer and fleet credit applications Preparing Credit Applications for Senior Management and/or headquarters covering earnings of dealer, fleet, risks, securities Liaising with external legal counsel and C-level executives in relation to finance and security structure Conducting annual reviews of existing clients Assessing credit risk associated with interim applications made by dealers and fleet Proposing actions to be taken to minimise or eliminate the risks posed to VWFS Negotiating any changes to credit applications with dealers and fleet resulting from the reviews In order to be successful: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance 2 - 5 years' experience in underwriting, corporate lending, business banking, floor plan/bailment finance, or related discipline The ability to identify and develop alternative solutions to problems Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills Experience in assessing the financial performance of companies Analytical ability, knowledge, and good understanding of financial ratios used to assess the viability of business Financial industry background an advantage and auto industry knowledge desirable (but not essential) Excellent verbal and written communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
