About The Opportunity
The Australian Forest and Wood Innovations Centre for Sustainable Resource and Product Solutions supports collaborative, industry‑focused research across Australia’s forestry and forest products sectors and is part of the University of Tasmania’s strategy to deliver global solutions from Tasmania.
The Industry Partnerships - Knowledge Broker plays a key role in connecting industry, government and University of Tasmania researchers to ensure research is relevant, practical and delivers real‑world impact. The role builds and strengthens partnerships, supports collaborative projects, and contributes to monitoring and evaluating the Centre’s impact nationwide. The position involves regular intrastate travel, some interstate travel, and time spent working in the field. To complement our existing approaches, we would like to incorporate Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander knowledge and perspectives.
