Task & responsibilities
Analyse the structure of a business, how it uses technology and design and implement IT solutions.
Define and analyze system problems; design and testing of standards and solutions to meet computer system requirements.
Construct and assess new computer systems and frameworks, and evaluate alternative roadmap solutions.
Detect, examine, and inspect business processes, procedures and work practices.
Identify inadequacies and advise optimal business practices and system functionality and behavior.
Improve operational requirements for use by system developers.
Perform design, implementation, and upgrades of information systems to meet business and user needs.
Oversee the implementation of new technology and systems.
Maintain and upgrade existing systems as required.
Use data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for design and development of system software.
Create user and training documentation and conduct formal training classes.
Develop, configure and integrate computer and network systems.
Analyse, interpret and evaluate complex system design and specifications.
Undertake research to analyse, evaluate and monitor systems and network infrastructure to ensure high-quality operating performance as per specific requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree or certifications in system analysis, business analysis, or a related discipline is a plus.
At least 1 year of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within IT or technology-driven environments.
Experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing systems in a variety of business areas.
Hands-on experience with software development processes.
Experience with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise-level applications is a plus.
