Job Description
The Department of Health's Client Services team is the front line of ICT support services to the largest Tasmanian state government agency. The team ensures that the Department's clinical and corporate workforce have reliable ICT solutions available to deliver healthcare services to the Tasmanian community.
The Role
As a member of the Digital Technology Services Group (DTSG) senior management team, you will provide executive leadership of the Client Services team. This includes establishing, developing, and leading high-performing service delivery teams.
* Proven capability in establishing, developing, and leading high-performing service delivery teams.
* Extensive high-level experience in managing customer-focused ICT support services.
* Ability to work as part of a management team, manage people, and be adaptable and flexible to achieve results in an environment of change, ambiguity, and pressure.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Client Services team to ensure consistent delivery of service commitments.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other teams to identify and address technical issues.
* Mentor and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in managing IT support services.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
