- Hays are seeking a hard-working landscaper who is hoping to combine their passion for gardening, maintenance, and landscaping with a desire to give something back to the community.- will be required to carry out tasks associated with Maintain the City’s irrigation infrastructure to a sound operational level in accordance with the Parks Departments service delivery measures. As well gardening and maintenance of local parks, park or turf, and systems maintenance including using lawnmowers, whipper snippers, and hedging and use of chain-saw equipment, and also be passionate about their work.

What will be required for this role:
- Experience in large scale irrigation systems.
- Experience in safe and effective use of all equipment used in irrigation operations
- Irrigation installation qualification or relevant experience
- To be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Component
Preferable requirements:
- Certificate in Horticulture
- Experience in (Planting, weeding, mowing, mulching, identification of plants, trenching, chainsaw)
- Additional Tickets (Excavator, Watercart, High-Risk Ticket)
- MR or HR license
Additional Info- Temp to perm opportunity for those who are willing to learn, positive attitude (usually a 6 month process)
