Cruiser Auto Services, operating as Cruiser Auto Repairs and Subaru Service Alice Springs, is seeking a full-time Storeperson / Parts Interpreter to join our growing automotive business in Alice Springs.
Our workshops specialise in servicing and repairing vehicles used throughout Central Australia, with a strong focus on Toyota 4WD vehicles and Subaru models operating in remote and regional conditions.
About the Role
This position involves interpreting automotive parts, managing inventory and supporting workshop operations to ensure efficient servicing of vehicles used across Central Australia.
Key Duties
* Identify and interpret automotive parts using electronic catalogues
* Order and source automotive parts for a variety of passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles and 4WDs using electronic catalogues and supplier systems
* Manage stock control and inventory systems
* Receive and dispatch parts deliveries
* Issue parts to workshop technicians
* Maintain accurate parts records and documentation
Skills & Experience
* Experience in automotive parts interpreting or storeperson role
* Familiarity with automotive parts catalogues and supplier systems
* Knowledge of 4WD vehicles highly regarded
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently
