Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Perth, WA for an experienced Electrical Fitter / Motor Rewinder. The role involves disassembly, inspection, repair, testing, rewinding, refurbishment, and reassembly of various types of electric motors and other rotating equipment. Additionally, the successful candidate will identify faults, perform preventative maintenance, and adhere to all safety and quality standards to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Qualifications
* Hands‐on experience in rewinding, refurbishment, and testing electric motors and rotating equipment.
* Proficiency in diagnosing faults, preventive maintenance, and the application of electrical repair techniques.
* Strong understanding of safety compliance, technical specifications, and quality standards.
* Ability to use and operate advanced tools and equipment relevant to the role.
* Good problem‐solving skills and attention to detail in maintaining performance benchmarks.
* Relevant trade qualification as an Electrician or Electrical Fitter/Mechanic.
* Experience in ISO 9001-ISO 14001-AR100 compliant environments is an advantage.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
