Your Role as a General Practitioner
As a General Practitioner at DAHS, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality clinical care at our town-based and remote clinics. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our health services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
You will have the unique opportunity to mentor and support fellow health staff and trainees, including Aboriginal Health Workers and medical students, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within our multidisciplinary team.
Your Ideal Profile
We are looking for a passionate and driven General Practitioner who is ready to make a real impact. If you possess the following qualities, we want to hear from you
* Accredited Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or equivalent.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
* In-depth understanding of the health challenges faced by Aboriginal people in rural and remote areas.
* Proficiency in the Medicare Benefits Schedule and commitment to quality and risk management principles.
* A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and can work independently.
* Current AHPRA Registration and relevant clearances.
* A commitment to cultural sensitivity and the philosophy of Aboriginal Community Control.

Salary & Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $284,625 FTE along with a range of benefits, including:
* Annual airfare for Derby-Perth-Derby return after 12 months of continuous employment valued at $1,683.
* Relocation reimbursement up to $5,000.
* Mobile phone allowance of $100 a month.
* Accommodation and vehicle provided.
* Indemnity reimbursement.
* 6 weeks of annual leave with 17.5% leave loading.
