This is a full-time role which can be based anywhere in Australia, with travel requirements nationally.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for strategic asset purchases and disposal, maintenance of the vehicle fleet, ensuring accreditation compliance across all states, optimal safety and functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
You will oversee maintenance schedules, manage vendor relationships, and make sure every vehicle meets the highest safety standards.
You'll also play a vital part in shaping our fleet's future – forecasting needs, building renewal strategies, and training our leaders so they're confident and capable on the road.
It's about more than mechanics; it's about keeping the backbone of our adventures moving.
Qualifications
Qualified Diesel Mechanic with senior experience in fleet management.
Minimum 5 years' senior technical experience in fleet management, maintenance and repair.
Demonstrated experience in scheduling and managing a large diverse fleet in Australia.
Proficient in the use of Office365 and particularly in Microsoft Excel, and strong administrative skills.
A sound understanding of driving and commercial licensing regulatory requirements within Australia.
Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel for work as required.
