Your Opportunity
As a Take Two Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting diverse clients at various stages of care and recovery from significant trauma, neglect, and disrupted attachment.
You will develop therapeutic treatment plans guided by the Neurosequential model to create better outcomes for Children, Young People, and Families in the recovery of trauma.
Location and Employment Details
The position is based in either Geelong or Warrnambool location on Wadawurrung and Gunditjmara Country.
This is a full-time or part-time (0.6) fixed-term position until 30 June 2025, covering parental leave.
The base salary is $100k per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation, and salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum (pro rata).
Your Skills and Experience
We are seeking an experienced Clinician who enjoys working within a multi-disciplinary team and is passionate about seeing young people and families reach their goals.
A sound understanding of trauma and its impacts on attachment and developmental milestones for young people is essential.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor degree level or higher qualification in a Health or Welfare related field such as Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Family Therapy, Speech Pathology, Art Therapy, or related discipline.
* Significant experience conducting clinical work with adolescents.
* Solid understanding of the complexities of the service system and demonstrated ability to provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families.
* Understanding and demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and community.
