Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Labour Rate Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely labour rate estimates across various business sectors.
The role of the Labour Rate Estimator is critical in supporting the organisation's growth and commercial delivery of new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labour rate estimating, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
About the Role
This permanent, full-time position is located in Fortitude Valley, QLD or Melbourne, VIC and reports directly to the Head of Estimating.
* Lead the discipline of labour rate estimating across the Utilities division.
* Ensure the quality and consistency of labour rate estimating undertaken by the lines of business.
* Develop and implement standardised procedures and processes for labour rates estimating.
* Coach and develop the Utilities estimating team.
* Provide oversight and analysis of all key processes in the labour rate estimating workflow.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant estimating or analytical role. Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and estimating software proficiency, are essential for this position.
