The Position We are seeking an experienced and driven Property Accountant to take ownership of the financial performance of a diverse portfolio of retail and mixed-use assets. You’ll be embedded in every stage of the investment lifecycle, from budgeting and forecasting to audit, rent roll management, and tax compliance. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for properties Own the service charge accounting process: budgeting, reconciliations, and reporting Reconcile rent rolls and manage rental income, turnover rent, and lease adjustments Conduct variance analysis and present insights at meetings Support annual budgeting, forecasting, audits, and BAS lodgements Manage tenant account queries and arrears Liaise with Asset Managers, Property Managers, and external stakeholders Maintain and improve financial systems The Criteria This role requires someone who can plan, achieve high workloads, meet deadlines, develop and implement systems. Proven experience within property accounting MRI or Yardi highly desirable but not essential.
