This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally significant program supporting investigative case management systems.The successful SAS Specialist (Senior DevOps Engineer) will be responsible for, but not limited to:Leading the design, development, and support of the Agency's Cloud & Data Infrastructure and SAS Visual Investigator platform.Developing and customising SAS Visual Investigator data models, workflows, entities, and rules.Building and optimising ETL pipelines and integrating external data sources/APIs with SAS Visual Investigator.Implementing CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
The successful SAS Specialist (Senior DevOps Engineer) will have experience in the following:Hands-on expertise with SAS Visual Investigator and AWS cloud infrastructure/services.Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation of cloud provisioning.

Database administration (Postgres/MySQL), Azure infrastructure, and HashiCorp Vault.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a leadership role in shaping and delivering SAS and DevOps capabilities within a Federal Government Department.
The successful SAS Specialist will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 12 months, along with rewarding hourly rates and versatile hybrid working arrangements.
