We're looking for a proactive and community-minded Maintenance Officer to help keep our Green Hills Retirement Community welcoming and beautifully maintained. You'll work closely with the Property Services Manager and the Site Team to support residents and ensure the village runs smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing Maintain the village's presentation including buildings, windows, pathways, gardens, BBQ areas, outdoor furniture and waste disposalCarry out general repairs and routine maintenance for building, equipment and grounds and coordinate with external contractors as requiredBuild strong, respectful relationships with site team, residents and service providers/partnersSupport site operations with WHS compliance, budget monitoring and property services administrationUse your tech skills to manage reporting, stay across maintenance needs and the budgetBring a warm, collaborative and solutions-focused approach to every interaction
What You'll Need Trade qualifications or hands-on experience in property/building maintenanceSolid understanding of WHS requirements and a strong safety mindsetBe approachable, empathetic, honest, patient and kind with a sense of humourTake pride in your work while being adaptable (your workplace is someone's home)Confidence using Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systemsA recent National Criminal History Check suitable for aged care or willingness to acquire About Us Fresh Hope Communities exists to create spaces that cultivate belonging and places that feel like home.
