ABOUT THE ROLE
* Casual roles available - includes weekend work
* $50.29 per hour (Band 1 + Industry Allowance + Special Engagement Allowance + 25% Casual Loading)
* Based from two depot locations - Foster and Leongatha
South Gippsland Shire Council is looking to increase it's casual pool of Public Amenities team members.
Public Amenities Team Members ensure our communities are presented in the best possible light for locals and visitors alike. As a team member, you will ensure council facilities are maintained to a high standard.
These facilities include but not be limited to:
* BBQ and park facilities
* Public Amenities
* Communal spaces across the Council's assets
The role requires working across weekends and weekdays with early starts from 6.00am and at times 5.00am during peak season.
ABOUT YOU
Whilst cleaning experience is preferred, you will have a positive attitude, enjoy working with others and above all take pride in your work.
You will be proactive in ensuring that your work is completed to a high standard. Whilst public interactions are minimal, you will have a courteous manner and look to provide a positive experience for all that you do meet.
You will be prepared to work from either depot location - Foster and Leongatha - as the requirements of the roster and work dictate. A current manual drivers licence is mandatory.
A can-do attitude is the most important aspect you will bring. The current team takes great pride in their work and they perform it to their best ability.
As a preferred candidate, you will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical/fuctional assessment including drug and alcohol testing.
