Job Overview:

The role of an Account Manager plays a pivotal part in driving sales growth by fostering strong customer relationships and serving as the primary point of contact for account coordination.

This position oversees overall account management, working closely with other sales roles to maximize Alcon penetration in major accounts. Key responsibilities include creating equipment leads, service contracts, and tender management where necessary, ensuring smooth business operations across designated territories.

A typical day may involve:

* Driving total Alcon sales performance within assigned territories
* Ownership of Cataract-dominant and selected Monofocal IOLs account plan development & execution
* Deriving insight and intelligence from the current customer environment and transforming this understanding into successful commercial execution

Key qualifications for this role include deep knowledge of Cataract procedure, equipment, and consumables, as well as IOL offerings. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both technically and interpersonally. Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and a customer-orientated approach are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Represent Alcon in Surgical Accounts and execution

- Develop and execute account plans to drive sales growth

- Foster strong customer relationships and coordinate smooth account operations

- Collaborate with other sales roles to maximize Alcon penetration in major accounts

Requirements:

- Deep knowledge of Cataract procedure, equipment, and consumables

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

- Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen

- Customer-orientated approach with ability to work in a matrix organization
